And so it begins!

Well now I decided to take the plunge (small as it is).

Mine now has interior xenon lighting. Let me just say that it looks BEAUTIFUL with the red interior. Pics will come soon. The license plate looks so much better with the new lights. I'm catching myself going near the car and night and hitting the unlock button just to look at the lights. Installation was easy, though the center console is tricky due to lack of space. Granted I'm used to that stuff so no problem at all. I did have to get some pliers out and rebend the license plate clips. I guess I didn't have the screwdriver in the right spot to push the retaining clip back.

Oh I must also add.....
Wind deflector kit ordered

Now if I can sell my truck for 5k I will have some play money and can think about engine upgrades
cursed mod bug :ant:

I installed the same kit. The lights are a great improvement. The overheads, license plate and side indicators look 100x better than the OEM lights. I didn't bother changing out the center counsel lights as they were too hard to get to and those lights are actually white as opposed the the yellowish lights elsewhere.

My next mod will be chrome tails and then changing the headlight and fog bulbs to Silverstar Ultras or some other Xenon-like bulbs. After that will be new 18 or 19" rims and Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons but I'm in no hurry to do that anytime soon. After that, I'm not sure what other mods to do.

Yeah, I'm so undecided what to do once I sell the truck. I caught myself thinking of getting the full aero kit for the car, but beyond that I have no idea. I was thinking upgrading the brakes but a couple people at work say I need a more powerful engine before I need better brakes. I dunno, personally I think it's better for me to stop quicker before I can go faster.

The license plate lights look great. I've read in some forums that the lights are not as bright as the bulbs don't point downwards? I don't know about you, but I think they look just as good as the lights in this post where the owner replaced the license plate lighting units. http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2899

If you track it, you are right on the money...... brake fade SUCKS.....

Well I tried to take pics of the interior xenons, but to no avail. My camera sucks for night pics. Not a single one really showed the lights reflecting off anything. So ya'll will have to go off the pics on bimmians website. It looks awesome, and the license plate frame is easily seen. IMO just as easy as the original bulbs. The lights in the LP frame area point the same way as the originals. I'd say all in all took me around 20 minutes, but that is just because I took my time to not mess any brackets up. Super easy for those fellers.
