and another wheel size question

hi all,

I know these questions come along daily, but I've been reading the forum for a while now and never found an answer to the following:
i'm planning to buy 8.5x19 et 35 and 9.5x19 et 35 wheels, will I have problems with rubbing while running 225/35/19 and 235/35/19 tires on a non M-Zed?
my car isn't lowered yet but kinda planning to though.

thanks, Randy :)

Use an online wheel offset calculator to work out the difference between you existing and new wheels. 35 back and front seems wrong though.

No, you will not have any problems as I have the same set up on mine.
I would question the tyre choice though. I would probably go wider on the rears with a lower profile, say 265/30/19. This would keep your rolling radius similar to the originals.
As for lowering with that set up I believe gookah lowered his 2.2 with those offsets and tyre widths without a problem.

thanks all for the replies. Going to pick them up this afternoon. Staggered 3-piece brock b9 wheels.
Dav, you're right, i would have went wider at the back too, but i'm buying them second hand (one week old ) so the tires on them are still quite new, will see how i like them before changing them out immediately.

another question though: on my corrado vr6 i used to have a weitec hicon suspension, adjustable in heigth. I actually was really happy with them, coming from a kw v2 before that. ride quality was great. Now seeing the slight difference in price between a full adjustable kit like that and eibach springs on stock suspension, i was wondering if anyone had experience with the weitec on a z4?
