An unusual day, demanding patients, but remedied by my ///M

Working in Brighton & Hove, one expects an interesting day and in my case an interesting and cosmopolitan patient / customer........... today was no exception!

Sorry it's so blurry but you may just be able to make out some firemen, one with a pole and one with a long wooden twigg (both obviously standard issue) trying to 'recuse' one of my patient's today.......

Yes, that's right, 5 of Sussex Fire and Rescue's finest were needed to capture one stubborn pigeon that toddled into my pharmacy after 4 hours of a mix of clapping, shooooeing, tapping, waving, mopping, shouting, light dimming, bread crum-leaving, net-throwing, frustration, flapping, flying, closing the premises, cracking ornothological-medical banter with the locals (if such a thing actually exists).....

So after much disruption and bemusement the day came to a close with me glad I have a day off tomorrow - as I skulked back to the car park my head aching with all of the stress and problems caused by the pigeon-gate that I had just witnessed, I realised that all was not lost as I was going to drive my ///M home........

As I walked up to her, looking filthy, salty and alloys covered in brake dust - starting her up from cold in the enclosed area led to a booming, spluttering, throbbing cacophony that brought an instant smile to my face.........after heading out to the open road and hearing the metallic rasp of the low revving s54 engine turn into that intense, rich, deep roar we all love between 3-6,000ish revs, the back of my head hitting the ripe Imola red leather M seats...my headache lifted!

I love my ///M!!!

Ha ha, the girls at work were keen for them to come and all work stopped when they arrived.......

Where are the female firemen?!?!?!?!

Your wish is my command. I'll take a pigeon or two if she's turning up. Now then, where's the cat, I'm going to stick it in a tree and call 999

Great declaration of ///M love, Jamie. I hear you loud and clear and get the same feeling these days on the odd occasion I get to start mine up in the garage after a week or two not using her
