An unusual and optomistic request

After much deliberation and test driving of Porche's,Mazda's,Z3's a 2.0 Z4 plus various other bit's and bat's, Joanne and myself have decided what we would like(on paper anyway)is an 03/04/05 Z4 3.0SE,
milage,history and condition being more important than age as it will be use mainly for pleasure and European trips.We will have a budget between 10-12k.We have one problem or two,we have not seen or driven a pre facelift 3.0se,but have only read road tests and seen photographs.Before we start to look in earnest and to help us to be sure it's what we want is there anyone out there in East Yorkshire who is prepared to show us and give us a run in their car.

Good choice - as Mike said, sure someone will be happy to step up... just as long as you promise to stay until the end of the presentation :wink:

Not sure what your timescale is but have a look in the Meets and Events section, see if there is anything that suits.

Looked at a similar list myself drove the 2.0 zed before buying the 3.0 .. Both nice cars but 3.0s are a bit special but so are good 2.5s. Based in the north of Scotland otherwise would have gladly helped .
 
Just to add were not strange or weird people just Mr and Mrs average,some would even describe us as sociable and personable (Joanne anyway)our local BMW dealership have had no 3.0se's in for us to test drive and I don't like to waste the private seller's time just to see if it's what we really want,we love the look of the car,but have only driven an 07 2.0 which we both liked but felt it to be a little underpowered plus I really like the BMW straight six engines.

Looked at yours many times,it looks a lovely car,afraid our budget is around 10k would possibly stretch to 12 for something exeptional.

I live in Doncaster (parents are at Crowle) so I'm regularly in and around that sort of area, 10/15 mins from Goole. I might be of some assistance, owning a very tidy 2003 3.0. Drop me a private message...
