An apology, and an explanation.

Having not been on the forum really for a week or so, I just wanted to apologise for not replying to PM's/question and threads etc.

Had some really bad news regarding my Daughter Georgia last week. She's only 15, and having received successful proton therapy treatment in the USA almost 3 years ago for a brain tumour, we found out last week that not only is the tumour back, but she now has one in her spine too.

Not good news at all, but something we just all have to deal with.

So, that's the reason my head has been up my @rse all week..

Blimey Mike that's shocking news for your daughter you and your family.
Family always comes first.
Words are not enough but to say that the forum wish her you and yours all the best for a positive outcome.

Having two daughters, I would echo the sentiments of everyone’s posts. How is the family holding out?

The little boys don't really understand, although they know she was ill previously. The rest of us are in pieces, especially her sisters.

Hi mike my thoughts are with you and your family at this tough time. No apologies necessary. I have gone through some tough times myself and the forum lads and lasses have all been great and understanding. I hope the future is bright for your girl.

That dreadful new brought a tear to my eye and that feeling only a father and mother knows.
