Amy Winehouse found dead, aged 27

I can't quite believe some of the comments on here. Yes she had a drug addiction. Yes she had a drink problem. Addiction is a terrifying thing and takes an awful lot of help and support to get over. Unfortunately, she was given very little support from anyone in her life.

The media ripped her life to pieces and only wrote of the bad in her life. Her management pushed her at points where a decent person would have held back. Most of her "friends" were there for the ride. Do you think she could control any of this and push back with the problems she had?

We all have problems in life and can get on without having our lives smeared over every grotty area of the press.

For some of you to say you don't give a toss is - quite frankly - nothing short of disgusting.

People make choices...... and she made hers. Sorry for the family. :(

Its a shitty media obscessed consumption society. Its people who read such drissle and fuel that industry that should feel ashamed, not those who just don't care about it.

I wonder how much in it for the ride her family and friends were :o

Either way its a terrible waste of talent.

Spot on, couldnt agree more

Its a bloody shame because she WAS an amazing talent, whatever people think. I was listening only the other day to Tony Bennett (before she died) comparing her to Ella Fitzgerald and I'd say he knows a bit about music.

Its sad in situations like these that there aren't people who are prepared to treat the Amy's of this world with a dose of reality, instead of the fawning gravytrain passengers that are out to get what they can out of it.

And as for that s**t-faced arse-wipe Blake Fielder-Civil....he wants putting down.
