Amp recommendations ...

My office Mini HiFi system suddenly stopped working, no idea why and fixing nowadays is a non starter for electronics.

So I am looking for a replacement Amp only as I only use my Sonos Connect box to drive the Amp. The Amp needs to drive 4 speakers (preferably switchable) as I have a set of two speakers in the garage, and two speakers in my office. It also has to have a remote control as when I get a call, I need to be able to mute the sound. The Sonos uses either Digital sound connection (Optical lead or coax) or can use an Amp Aux connection.

It does not have to be top equipment as I am only using it in the office.

Recommendations welcome or if someone wants to get rid of an Amp I would consider that as well.

Depends on how much you want to spend, I have a cheapish Cambridge Audio Azure amp for the PC in my den and I have to say it's quite good. Would recommend looking at What hifi and see what they say.

Interesting, thanks sars, that is the sort of budget I am looking for (office = no VAT :) ).

Another suggestion might be the Denon RCD-M39 or similar which is not only an amp but has Cd and Dab built in as well. This also has an optical input.
Not sure about the 4 speaker setup but there may be others in Denons or another companies range that support this.
