Ok, so E85 z4 3.0i manual.
Has all the mod cons, sat nav, radio, phone connectivity, cd multi changer and also has a parrot blue tooth phone system installed.
Put key in ignition to accessories or just prior to starting and all the services play via the amp exactly as designed.
Start the car, and audio will continue but always cuts out once the EML light goes out on the dash.
All the various items, radio, sat nav, cd etc keep powered and are usable, but no audio (as if the power to the amp has been cut)
Kill the engine and the audio cuts back in...
Very occasionally a bump or tuning the steering on the spot can get a brief blip of sound (which is even more annoying... As that points to a loose connection possibly? OR... Is there a solenoid that could be faulty?
Note: I have seen many posts on faulty amp, pairing of amp, faulty ignition. None seem to match this exact issue. Prior to starting the engine the amp is running everything without fault (and sounds great!). Ignition operates start up, keys retain memory and so on.
Any light you can shine on this would be most welcome. May be delays in responding sometimes because of work.
