Amorall Wheel Shield

Has anyone tried this?

http://www.armorall.eu/uk/products/item/id/205/shield-for-wheels

I noticed it in Augusts issue of BMW Car and curious if it works but worried if long term use can damage the alloy finish?

I tend to use Wheel Wax but feel there may be better products out there,

Cheers,

Tim.

I haven't used this product before but it wont do your wheels any harm with long term use, it will only be a synthetic polymer based spray much like a synthetic spray wax for your paint work, just more durable to cope with the heat and brakedust.

Any dedicated wheel wax will be better than nothing but if you want the best look no further than "gtechniq - C5 Wheel Armour", its a bit of a faff to apply correctly but it will last 6-12 months depending on milage and washes.

Have used 'Wheel Wax' for some time and on a set of 108s which are in their 8th year without corrosion
