The secret to any good festival is to map out where the beer tents are so when it rains you are always aware of your nearest one, Richard did seem to have a good sense of beer direction

Don't you just love owning a drop top when the Mrs has left something on her seat

Richard decided to park next to all his mates

Nice pics! Saw a few of those Kenwood trucks at truckfest this year, they are pretty cool! That Orange County Chopper is cool too!

Fantastic pics Nosa

I too love that red Mustang - what. a. car.

You were being stalked by a naked man in the first shot though :o :P

Aahh the Roush Mustang, I actually felt my heart miss a beat when I laid eyes on it, it looks even better in the flesh. it was Gor-ge-ous.

My cousins go to Americana every year. One's got a '77 Trans-Am and a '72 Caddy Coupe de Ville and his sister has a really pretty '67 (I think) Mustang Fastback. I keep promising to go with them, just never got round to it...

Saw the Mustang pic on your Facebook - stunning

Wish I could see your pics here but they're barred on my work connection. If I've got a spare few days I'll attempt to use my home internet connection to view them :(

There was a few trans ams and 2 - 67 fastbacks , you should make the effort and go, it was superb, 2 outdoor stages and an indoor venue with bands on untill 11pm on the main stage and 2am in the indoor, Lots of Drunk cowboys and girls by 2am with some great rockabilly country music.
We have decided to try to make this an annual pilgrimage, This was our first time, and intend to go for 2 nights next year The women loved it as well, Lots of stalls, food vendors, lots n lots of eye candy and some interesting side shows

Can't recomend it enough.

saw some of these as they must have been heading north to glasgow as i was on my way south... lovely red Buick (i think) on the m6.... reminded me of the milky way advert the red car and blue car having a race....... :)

having owned a couple of yank-tanks (F-bodies) over the years I used to try to make it to the Americana gig whenever possible and always enjoyed myself. I've been out of the scene for a while now, but it's good to see that it is still going strong.

Strangely I nearly bought a new Camaro earlier in the year, but Chevrolet couldn't get there act together - so now I drive a Z….. their loss and I'm enjoying the open top freedom afforded by the car and the goodwill of the Sunshine demon (British Summer - if only)

Nice pics - Thanks :D

Ooooh that Charger is gorgeous :driving:

You should have heard it,
Nosa, a bloke near me owns some sort of Cobra (replica I guess but you never know...). You always know when he's got it out as I can hear it start from approx 1/2 mile away , and he quite often gives it hell on the main road at the end of my street. Best sounding car I've ever heard.

One of these days I'll get the guts to go up and beg for a ride :)
