American Cars....any need????

Well we did establish two important facts:

1) American cars go fast, but only in a straight line

2) British cars go fast around corners, but only when they aren't in the repair shop

:poke: :P

We agree

doesnt that cts do a good 'ring time? even on top gear it was said to be a very good handling car, not for an american car but any car full stop.

i wish we had cars more with the american style for the 50's 60's & 70's - i really like that cts and stuff like the new challenger, muscle car style brought up to date.

Info on just one of the Bentleys out there

The Bentley 600bhp GT Speed, with 48bhp more than the standard car, sprints from 0-60mph in 4.3 seconds. And, with 750Nm of torque available from only 1,750rpm, in-gear acceleration from the twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 is stunning; the 50-70mph dash takes just 2.3 seconds, and the Speed feels more driver-focused and urgent than before.

So in response to the question - American cars - any need - HELL NO!

Your turn America :D

Fast on the straight and can take a corner over 30mph without ending up in a ditch!
Even our Top Gear boys, who are mas as they come when it comes to cars, only dared test out the American cars on the straight in the middle of nowhere!

X100!

Local dealer had one back in 2004 or 2005. Had the rear deck lifted so you could see the engine. I just wanted to drive it around the parking lot. They said no. <sigh>
