Amber Indicators

Seems to be a lot of interest in amber indicators recently... is there something I should know?
Should I start to invest in them? :P :rofl:
 
Just me and Inkey$ as far as I know. We both have realised the affinity of bronze wheels with Monaco Blue and have decided to ginger our cars up a bit.
 
The only reason I've taken mine off is to get rid of the awful black/silver BMW roundels- if they were clear and blue/white they would still be on there!

Its a Monaco Blue and Bronze thing. Fairly niche!
 
I think it's because it's different. These days every new/newish car on the road has clear turn signals or clear lenses, with white 6000k LEDs everywhere. Amber is going against the grain and it looks actually very classy and cool these days.

Back when the E85 car came out, everyone wanted clear turn signals, rear lights, no-amber hockey stick up front. Nowadays? In the sea of white LEDs it looks so good!
 
I don’t mind the amber. But as I like orange anyway it kinda makes sense.

Just bought orange brake hoses to fit :D
 
These days with the age of my 05 I am just glad they still work and don't leak. Oh darn did I just jinx myself? :o
 
I have a mix of both, clear side indicators and orange hockey sticks. I wouldn't change the to FL headlights at all as I think the orange works really well with the blue. Clearly this is a blue thing :D
