This arrived late last night, package 140 cm x 50 cm:

Opened earlier and stunned to find a pair of wiper blades!

Suspect they can claim the costs providing the packaging is re-cyclable.

At least your item was in a box. I had something delivered last week that just had the delivery address sticker straight onto the box.

Standard Amazon. I think I bought swimming goggles once and they came in a box larger than a shoe box but the item was at least anchored inside.

My go to for wiper blades is: https://www.wiperblades.co.uk/ I've never thought to try Amazon.

At least they don't all arrive cellophane wrapped any more.

That does look a bit like overkill!

But as buzy said at least it's recyclable.
