HI Guys,

I have the DSP system in my car and recently bought the Blue Music Bluetooth adaptor and the Dsp connector.

I have connected it up but there is 2 bare cables , one red and one white. I have no idea where they connect too. The instructions aren't very clear. Has anyone fitted one of these?

thanks

Can you post the one you did buy perhaps?

From memory, if you did NOT buy the '6+3' connector one, because you have a co-ax connector instead, then the adapter needs to be powered to process the DSP signal which could be those 2 leads. Memory is hazy though.

There are two versions of DSP on E85 depending on age. Later ones and by facelift are not optical and can use same interfaces as non DSP cars.

Is there ones of these that work with coax DSP systems? Couldn't find anything on it a couple of years ago and just ended up installing an aux and bluetooth aux, but the CD changer sound quality is a different level totally

With intravee you needed a DSP adapter with coax. Not sure if the adapter would work with one of these units or not though.

This is the one I mentioned, fits the 6+3 CD changer connection. Mine was a 2003.
