These were snapped from the plane not long after taking off from Cuba. The pics don't do it justice. I've never seen anything so beautiful and scary. There were storms west from where we were and these must've been the edge of them. The last one's the best.

Exactly! I just wanted to get out of the plane and get amongst it. So beautiful but so scary. I was just in awe.
 
Cuba in august is stupidly humid in the evenings - My first experience of somewhere getting hotter when it rains which it does almost every evening. Fantastic clouds though - great pics Carol

Very humid! We only had one overnight rain and one in the morning for about 10 mins. It was sunny for the rest of the two weeks with a couple of cloudy days which were conveniently when we went swimming with dolphins and on the speedboats.
