Ok, so in our office its ok to eat food at your desk (aslong as your not a messy EVANS like the guy next to me).

I fancied some ice cream, so went to ASDA and got a 2L tub because it was only 10p more then a 500ml pot. Now im eating it at my desk and getting funny looks.

Surely food is food, I don't look at the guy drinking cups of soup with a spoon and laugh, but I'm getting some right funny looks!

It must be a Cumbrian thing as Ive had a craving for ice cream the last few days and done similar haha!

Eating Ice cream at your desk is not strange, However a 2 litre tub is a bit mad

Seem to have accidently started an office civil war on wether or not ice creams acceptable in "the middle of winter" (apparently one of our receptionists has never heard of autumn)...

Makes perfect sense to me. Even more so if you are eating it with a large serving spoon

It's a French custom to leave the table a little bit hungry.

You're too far north to raise any eyebrows. They're simply jealous.

Strange for sure. With the money you saved you could have bought some cones and small Flakes, and shared out the 1.5l you didn't want as 99s, thus becoming Food Hero for the day. If you are really cheeky you might have gotten away with selling them :D
