Am I missing something ?

Just a quick question really?

Working from the front and under the car, you have the engine tray, which is connected between the front bumper and the alloy reinforcement plate. If you look at the back edge of this reinforcement plate, it looks as if it should have something else "connected" to it as there are three lugs / tabs, just there waiting for something?

Am I missing something ?

The car shares a lot of parts with the e46 3 series and the reinforcement plate is one of them. I suspect maybe on the 3er there was maybe another cover behind the plate ? In any case, that's the way it is on the Z

It's good to know nothing has dropped off so to speak, and that its a shared panel.

Looking through the diagrams for a3.0se it looks as if this isn't a standard part on this model. Thanks for your help
