Am i fallin out of love with my Zed?

Nice day yesterday, took the car up to lancaster, over to Kirby Lonsdale, Settle, Skipton, Clitheroe, and home.
Dog and wife in passenger seat. Blasted past a couple of Sunday drivers out on the wrong day much to my wife's annoyance.
Home, car washed and car tucked up for night. But i did not get the buzz that i usually do and i am not sure why.
No reasons that i can work out other than i kept gettin told to slow down
Anybody else felt a bit flat after a hoon ??

I hadn't driven my Zed since Thursday evening when I parked it up after the gym.

Worked on the house at the weekend and did other stuff. Car sat still....(unwashed) all weekend. So yesterday I drove it somewhere other than to and from work and I just didn't get the usual buzz either.

Perhaps because it's not looking its best at the moment and needs a damn good sort out....I hope that's all it is.

I wouldn't rule anything out. You may have just had an off day. Am sure that once you go back in the garage on a lovely day, get her out again, get some music on, top down you'll rekindle the magic that drew you to her in the first place.

I did a full attack acceleration up to national speed limit in the ///m....and the new mrs barely flinched! I knew at that moment I'd found a good one! I now need a faster car.....

Yes a proper blast out needs to be on your own so no distractions just pure enjoyment, I think you always get to a stage with a car when you get to know it well and then you want something either faster or more exciting and I have always ended up feeling that way about all my cars at some point so its far from an unusual feeling to have.
