Heading up to st Andrews for the weekend this morning, looking forward to some topless driving on them country roads up there in the sun.
I've packed my cleaning stuff to give my car a wash after the journey up. My girlfriend thinks I'm mad, I tried to explain I want the car looking good for our trips out.
I'm not the only one that would do this am I?

I never take washing stuff on trips... defeats the point of the trip IMO.

the car should wear it's dirt and dead flies with pride... plus gives me chill out time from worrying about it...aaaand, gives me something to clean when I get back...

Lol GF and I never got round to doing Scotland last year, so thinking about it this year... The thought occurred to me how am I gonna keep the zed looking clean after the long journey up there...

Also worth taking a QD spray and wipes to remove any bird bombs before they start etching the clearcoat....

worth having good protection on the paint, so you don't have to worry about cr@p like that! :wink:

If I have room I take the bucket, if not just some detail spray and rags etc....
In Arizona on some organized hoons there were a few who washed the car every morning and visits to car washes were regular.....
