Always make sure camera batteries are fully charged!

Went out for a wee spin in my new (to me) toy yesterday evening as it was such a nice day. Nice leisurely jaunt up to Eaglesham, up to the Fenwick Moors and past Whitelee Windfarm before joining the A77 and heading back towards Glasgow. The road through the Moors (B764) is fantastic - 5 mile stretch up and down hill with great view of the road ahead (may have pushed my car a bit more than usual...) Stopped at the top of the Fenwick Moors as it was an ideal photo opportunity - beautiful sunset, nice quiet road and a gorgeous view of Glasgow (yes - such a thing does exist!). Unfortunately had left my camera in the car without charging so had to make do with my trusty old phone...

Next time I'll make sure the camera is fully charged and ready to roll - still don't have a good photo of my pride and joy!

EDIT: updated so will hopefully work now!

That is a beautiful 5 letters saying Image :poke: :poke: :poke: :poke:
A few hosting sites do that, try photobucket.
Of course it wouldn't be the first time firefox failed to display an image for me.

Nice looking Z4 - not that I'm biased at all...

Last night was a cracking sunset. I was out driving back from Dunfermline via the FRB but unfortunately I was in my van and not the Z4 :(

Nice Z4

Glad you posted about spare battery must get a couple for my new camera Le-Mans in 7 weeks and always take 3.

Yep always have 2-3 batteries. I was on holiday recently and walked for what was a very long time given it was mega hot - prob only 20-30mins in reality! To shoot some amazing rocks set off a beach, took ONE photo and the battery run out, argh!

I run out this weekend when I was out and had just started shooting, luckily I had my spare on me and charged. One tip is turn the review screen on an SLR off, most of the time I find I shoot a few shots, then review then at my own pace, I have no need for the 2-4 second instant review - just wastes battery.

Good tip about thr review screen  especially when shooting motor sport do not have time to look at it much anyway and shots can look great on camera screen then rubbish on PC
