Your wallet will take a hit if you go for oem brands, just checked Carparts4less for 3.0l 2004, they have choice of 3 here https://www.carparts4less.co.uk/alternator
Alternative supplier Autodoc have choice of more brands here https://www.autodoc.co.uk/spares-search?keyword=12317543083 prices vary.
Yours may only have the regulator burnt out which could be replaced if you can find one, I would caution on going down that route, as the bearings in the main body will have worn and could fail in time. Best replace complete alternator to avoid future trouble.
Before spending check what voltage its putting out with a meter on the battery with the engine running just to check what its doing, you should see around 14v with it running and charging. If you get that then turn your attention to the battery, that may be the faulty componant.
