Alternative windows reset procedure

Hi all,

I've disconnected my battery a few times and had to do the normal windows reset but this time round it would not work :? Not sure why, I tried half a dozen times with no luck.

Then I found the below procedure which worked and also seemed to fix my passenger window as it's been going up slower than the drivers since I got the regulator replaced.

Ignition to position 1
Hold down button till window is fully down
Press down button a further 4 times
Hold up button until window is fully closed
Press down button to open window a few inches
Press up to close window

It worked for me and fixed my slower passenger window lol

Had a problem for the last while where the passenger side window would not go up for a good five seconds after the roof was raised even if you pressed the button. Tried your procedure and now both windows go up automatically

I tried other reset procedures before and they didn't work.

Ah nice one glad it helped you out. I had no idea there was more than one window reset procedure !!
