Alternative to a ghost immob?

Saw this on the inter web.
Seems you can flash a startup code sequence into the car. I have to say I like it. Also like the fact that the car will start but stay in park. Great way to warm the car up in the mornings.

Hijack mode is clever too.

Thoughts on it?

Great way of ruining an engine. Idling a stone cold engine is the worst way of warming it up.

Don’t disagree. Best thing to do is drive it, but not always possible with windows iced up.

Anyway. Not the point of the post. More wondering about the actual security benefits and does it work?
