Alternative seats

Hi all, i have an '06 3.0si se with non sports heated seats. I'd like to find a set of heated m/sports seats that would fit mine.
Also, does anyone know if e89 seats fit or any other model BMW seat that would work instead?

many times this has been asked about the e89 seats.
no one knows, go to a breaker and try fit them

Unfortunately I'm based in Northern Ireland and we're not blessed with many BMW breakers. If someone had it'd be very useful to know as most likely the seats will be bought across the water in mainland UK

Gone are the days of visiting a scrap yard with a tool box, most car bits are sold via Ebay...get shopping!

get the dimensions of the e89 seat and the dimensions of the e85 seat (sport and SE).

you may find that it will phsyically fit but you will definitely need a custom rail made... shouldnt be too expensive, I imagine Machinemonkey could whip you something up.

you'll probably need seat occupancy sensor from ur current passenger seat to be put into the e89 seat (someone should advise as I dont know fully)

I am unsure if the heated module in the seats would work with an e85 heated seat panel , plus you will need the wiring loom for the heated seats to operate.

if you're interested in the e89 seats then I'd say get the sport ones with electric non heated to save alot of hassle.
