Thank you all for your good wishes. I'm sure it'll no doubt be a challenging 6 months and a steep learning curve. The experience will invaluable for my future dealings with patients and their loved ones.
Jeez - you have my total and utter respect. Can't imagine there's too many good days in that role which only increases my respect for anyone doing this type of role. All the very best.
BTW, I always thought unclean hands and bad fire drill etiquette was at the heart of the NHSs challenges, so personally I am delighted my tax £ are being spent ensuring you ALL know how to evacuate yourselves in an orderly and cleanly fashion :|
