Alternative bonnet badge

As I understand it the front bonnet badge on my E86 is 70mm. I have noticed that the same sized badges are used on some wheels and are half the price, Anyone used these.

I'm pretty sure it's actually 74mm, and it has 2 prongs on the back that you screw a couple of nuts onto that cut a thread on the prongs.

I wondered about buying just a sticker, but it needs to attach to a curved surface and I wasn't sure that would work.

So I bit the bullet and bought a genuine BMW badge - it was only £40 on Amazon!
 
I have an E85 and I modified a wheel centre and used double sided tape to attach and I thought the cost of a replacement was too much. It’s worth you trying.
