Altering a facelift bumper

Has anyone on here heat formed a facelift rear bumper to fill the gap beneath pre facelift lights?

I’ve seen one modified a long time ago. What’s your reason? If you’ve got a pre-facelift the gap isn’t THAT bad. It’s not too much work to convert your pre-facelift all the way to facelift rear end. Just need to follow the how to.

Here’s a better picture of mine. Pre lights. Facelift bumper.

Edit: this is the photo I mean from before. It’s an M bumper on a pre-facelift.

The second pic is the reason why. It looks unfinished. I don’t want to go full facelift because I prefer the look of pre facelift lights. Tried the heating method at the weekend. It’s not going to happen. So I’ll just fill it. Does anyone have a recommendation for bumper filler other than Halfords stuff?

Try this, been using This a few years with no problems, flats down real easy and it’s very flexible. ACE3D2C9-B119-405B-8C2E-86DE715C20E9.jpeg1B6AE6E7-D7FA-40CC-98D5-C1D386E2F199.jpeg
