I bought my last Z4M from here. The important point however was that he was a well known member, who had clearly looked after his car.
On that note, if you only lose £500 during your few months' ownership, I'd say that's very good! I won't tell you how much Ben lost when he sold me his Z4M, but it wasn't a few hundred quid, I can tell you that much. Yet, it was easily one of the best looked-after cars you'll ever find.

it hasnt had a few change of owners dont know where this has come from, the last owner had it for years and it was v well looked after by him, he even had a 3 letter number plate and personalised car mats so had a bob or two
he then sold it to the dealer i bought it from and thats it

I agree,i think u can actually see the fuel gauge going down the more fun u have,lol. Despite knowing this when we all bought them,its surprising how much greedier it is when just taking it easy/going a long distance on an m-way,compared to the 3.0....but then it wouldnt be an M if it didint have a thirst for rocket fuel,haha. (A workmate had an m5 for 2yrs,and wasnt aware how greedy it was before buying,and got fed up with 15-18mpg as he used the performance as often as possible,lol). At least the z m's get around 25/26mpg
