alpine KCA420i

Is that firmware you gave me Steve still the latest one? Not looked at the beta forum lately.

Wish I could play with them both so I could see which I prefer!

The Dice kit seems to display song names, uses the steering wheel controls, has Bluetooth and is £180

The Intravee and Alpine adaptor is around £250

Plus any DSP adaptors etc.

This may help

I don't know, depends how often they update. I'm surprised they haven't put it on general release as that one is old.

I don't think there were that many bugs, so maybe not in a hurry to release a beta of new functionality when they don't make any revenue for it and their available market is shrinking

I think Markeg swapped a Dice for an Intravee... :?
Yep, changed from a dice (I-BMW-5V-T) system - was nowhere near as good as an Intravee with satnav ...

The extras menu is only available with the beta version though. It must also take more time responding to individual requests for firmware than to release to everybody.

My guess is they released the Beta to a few testers who shared. The people who got copies told others who asked for a copy etc etc. It must be a royal PITA for a small company. They're absolutely brilliant for customer service. They've emailed my back at all hours of the day and night including weekends.
