Hello

I've seen mention that the Alpine KCA-420i ipod link works with the Z4???

From a previous car I have an Alpine 9812RR headunit and both the Bluetooth module and ipod link.

The car i'm going to see doesn't have factory BT (Parot installed) but a 6CD Autochanger and Pro Nav.

Can I connect the KCA-420 for Ipod support? how does it connect and does it all function off the steering wheel etc?

car is a 57 plate, thanks

Hi you can but you will also need an Intravee as well to link and interface the KCA to the car.

Plenty of info on here about intravee if you do a search

Will cost you around £200 for second hand Intravee and Alpine or around £300 for all new bits.

I decided to stick with radio and CD for now. :driving:

One being sold on ebay at the moment.

I paid £200 for a brand new intravee 2 and 2nd hand Alpine ipod adapter off ebay. The seller had 3 or 4 of the alpine units if you want me to find the link. They were very prompt in despatching and I would recommend them.

They tend to go for around £200 so it's near top whack but if you want one and cant wait your not being ripped off.

Intravee now out of stock from www.toysinyourcar.com
