That parkers link is incorrect in quoting 238g CO2 anyway - there's no 'official' CO2 figure for the RS. I do know that Alpina parts are more expensive though after my rear wheel hit a pot hole and had to buy one
from Germany for over £500. The other thing I found was when I wanted to replace any parts, like I have renewed
the shocks, springs, wishbones, and joints ect. I wanted like for like and you have to search for the items Alpina used.
Going back to the original post though, I would chose an Alpina again over the M, maybe that's because when I went
looking it was for an M and the one I test drove was not a good example! But sitting in the showroom with people
about to take it out for a test drive was the one I bought, while they after their test drive, were thinking about it.
