Just put a deposit on an Alpina Roadster S. Thing is the running in service is 1200 miles and this particular one never had that service until 2800 miles. Will this be a problem?

Might invalidate parts of the engine warantee, I understand not adhering to the 1200 mile run in service can render it void on the M spec engines... is this from a private sale or a main bmw dealership?

I love the ALPINA Z4's! I wish they were in the US! Anyone know where i can get a alpina body kit? (really just the spoiler it looks so HAWT). Just curious how much do they go for over there? :hijacked:

Speaking from an M perspective, the running in service, if not carried out by 1200 miles - invalidates elements of the warranty.

Personally, if its recommended that a 1200 mile running in service occurs, I wouldn't buy one if it hasn't had it when it should do.

I did not know the Alpina needed it?

On the Z4M and M3, a late running in service generally means walk away - if purely from a resale perspective...

Defy, I'm presently inquiring about price for the spoiler kit. I'll let you know when I get it. Or, you could inquire for yourself, here are the Alpina part numbers:

- Alpina Aerodynamic Package Order No. 41 00 545
Or
- Package with Flat or Metallic paint order No. 41 00 544

Don't have the BMW part numbers that match. Kit fits 03' to 05'

Note: Rear spoiler can only be purchased with front as a kit. I emailed Alpina in Germany ato get them direct but we need to go thru a BMW Dealer (US or Canada) to get them.

I wouldn't be overally concerned and I guess you're not either seeing as you put a deposit down on it :P

Me neither. Can't be too picky when there are so few around. Warranty has probably run out by now anyway seeing as its an Alpina.
