Alpina RS #171 - Lux in Sterling with Black Leather, 68,300miles, located in East Croydon @ £9k
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181817715362

Not a lot of detail in the ad but doesn't look too bad in the photos

That's a tad low price wise going on what other current one's are asking. :o Do anyone know if the one that was for sale
at the Silverstone auction got sold after?

Seems extremely cheap compared to this for example
I'm not one to complain about the general rise in the price of decent RS' but, even with the low mileage and hardtop, that pricing looks somewhat optimistic

Very much like the look of that and at that price someone may grab a bargain :o

Cars of all make & models do pop up for sale at below market value , not everyone follows the market closely  id say a potential bargain here as going forward this can only head north pricewise :?
Great colour & looks good too , anyone tempted who has never got near one the stock sound from the exhaust is impressive by comparison to stock "M"s :o
Also cheap RFL so gotta be worth a look

Strangely they have it up at £22k on Pistonheads and a fiver under £20k on their website - and it's not even a Lux

And it's #265

Oh yes, it really is an addictive sound - it's a tuned stainless-steel unit made to Alpina specs by Boyssen

I have to say that Sterling Alpina looks nice and if I wasn't driving one already, I'd be making a phone call and asking a few questions. At £9k that seems very reasonable.

Are there any rules about owning two ?

Yes... to avoid looking a complete prat, you should only attempt to drive one at a time :P

Apparently this car is on Autotrader at £13k, so the EBay advert maybe a scam...

There are three others as well, all around £13-£16k

Prices are hardening though,
#260 is there - FJ55 HFD, non-Lux Sterling Grey with Red leather - was up for sale a year ago at GreenWing with 4k less on the clock and £3.5k less on the screen

Who in their right mind would buy an Alpina without lux pack ...

But then again, who would buy an M without the CF dash or satnav ...

So rest easy Alpina owners , the market for your car has not collapsed
And #115 went for £17,775 at last weekend's Silverstone auction

I think that this one falls into then"too good to be true" category. No reason not to enquire, but be really careful. :!:
