I really like your Alpina!

Did you get the windows tinted ?

Cheers, standard factory tint I believe, probably just the dim light we've had today makes it look darker :)

Lovely, but sorry to be dim...what makes an Alpina..what's the difference, is it higher standard spec?

Gorgeous 8)

Only the exhaust trims letting it down, but thats nit picking really

Thanks, I took these pics to help advertise my hardtop and it was freezing today so didn't spend as long cleaning the car as usual. The autosol will come out soon though 8)

In a nutshell, handbuilt 3.4L engine, 300BHP, 0-60mph = 5.1 sec with an unlimited top speed of 169mph (172mph with the optional hard top fitted), more luxurious interior (more leather everywhere). Alpina emblems, bodykit (rear boot spoiler/front spoiler), Alpina Dynamic wheels, more compliant suspension. No run flats from factory. I'm sure other Alpina fanatics will add more details.

I bet there aren't too many in that colour! Did you retrofit the folding mirrors? (Or did you manually fold them when parked?) Still can't make my mind up on a hardtop, they look good, but I've now got the offer of a free garage 10-15 mins walk from home.

Roadster plus hardtop :)

You should join the exclusive hardtop club in the lounge section

Yep you're right, 1 of 9 in the UK in red  The electric folding mirrors are factory fitted though and it's habit to fold them in. Should have had them out for the photos really.

I haven't worked out whether there is a split by colour on the Alpina Register. I think there are about 10 in Alpina Blue like mine. The majority seem to be Black or whatever that "Champagne" colour is called.

Very clean. I have 10 spokes on my wheels and they're a pain to clean. Looking at all those spokes makes me hurt all over. Looks good, though.

nice car, its intresting because its a rare edition of the z4 but personally Im not a fan of the model and alpinas in general, they just seem a little tacky to me with chavish type features. nice colour tho!
