Alpina Roadster S coming to Scotland...

Hi folks,

I guess it's time for me to stop lurking and start posting :D

All going well I should be picking up the Roadster tomorrow and bringing it back up the road. I did consider getting a Z4M Coupe but I liked the rarity of the Roadster so decided to go down that route instead. My previous car was an Alpina B10 V8 Touring but it just wasn't any fun so I hope the Roadster will make up for that.

Anyway, I'll try not to post toooo many stupid questions and I look forward to becoming a part of the community

No pics as yet but it's number 073 on the register (pics posted by one of the previous owners) http://www.thealpinaregister.com/photos/Roadster/S/convertible/73

Saw a black roadster at a distance today had Alpina wheels and may have been one, just passed too quick at the junction

Looks superb bud

I know that car intimately, it used to belong to Simmer. I have taken bits apart on that one :D

Just so you know - the slight marks around the centre airvent were not caused by me but by the dealer who could not get the vent out ... so I did it afterwards :)

Are you responsible for the Alpina roundels? If so they're coming off :D

But seriously, if there is any info you could give me on the car and what was done that would be great.

Just got the car back 30 mins ago...it needs a bloody good clean!

Very smart if you are free you'd be very welcome on the Fife meet on the 31st October...

I've got a busy couple of months ahead of me but if I'm in the country I'll try to pop along.

Hi Gee when you said you were getting an Alpina roadster for some reason it did not register that it was Z style. Wow the pics are amazing. If I see you in Aberdeen I will give you a flash.
Grampian Jock.
PS Marcos thinks it's almost time for winter hibernation
