Alpina Roadster #019

Hello,

I've been a member here for well over a year and thought it time I post some pics of my Alpina. Having owned various MX-5s over the last 10 years (including a couple with forced induction) I was originally looking for a 3.0 E85 but succumbed to the punchier and better spec'd Alpina, which I've now owned for 14 months.

Despite being immaculate and with FSH, buying an exotic variant is always a higher risk. I'm pleased to say, I've used it everyday and it hasn't missed a beat with no gremlins at all (excl recent broken spring which I'll mention below).

The pictures below are actually from the previous owner (I'll post some newer ones up soon!). In my ownership I've done the following:

- 4 wheel alignment & oil service at Simpsons Motorsport
- Clear rear lights (painted red outer circles)
- Clear side indicators
- De-gingered xenons and added angel eyes
- Stubby aerial
- 4 x Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres
- Black front grill

I recently discovered a broken rear spring which has given me an excuse to treat it to the following:

- Bilstein B12 kit (including matched Eibach springs)
- E46 M3 front ARB
- H&R rear ARB + superpro bushes
- New lower wishbones + bushes
- New ARB drop links
- New rear top mounts + bump stops
- Rear top mount reinforcement plates
- 4 wheel alignment (again!)

Looks stunning! All it needs now is a black roof instead!

Nice to see you went for the b12 kit! Is the m3 front arb a direct bolt on?
