I thought that some of you might be interested in some photos of the Alpina register’s meet at Sytner Nottingham last Sunday.

Very Nice Tim. I wasn't aware that this was happening.

Could have been a good place to market my Roadster !!

Get with it Alan, there's an 8 page thread about it on The Register, first post about it was in January and it's been one of the most active threads on there ever since... :poke:

I was booked to go but sold the Alp so would have been a bit strange to turn up in a Mazda!
Not a lot of pics on the Register, which I find odd. :o

I’ve pretty much given up on the Alpina Register Forum. Unless you’ve got a D3 or B10 they never seem interested.
I don’t think they classify a Roadster as a true Alpina there !

My advert on there hasn’t attracted a single comment, yet a far different reception here.

I would have to agree with you Alan, seemed to be a very cliquey event with no real warmth to it which is why we left after an hour feeling rather disappointed.

Orgasms on The Register seem to be reserved for Touring models - a roadster is about as far away from an estate as you can get...

The alpina register definitely has a core crew but most, if not all forums (this one included), has the same. When I posted my car for sale on there it got a few responses (possibly because I'm an ex B10 V8 touring owner :P ) but ultimately it was the pistonheads advert that attracted most interest and the least amount of time wasters.

Long story, short...get your car onto pistonheads (if not already on there). There are definitely buyers out there!
