Alpina - could be a bargain

Did they actually ever see the Alpina for trade in or did you just say "I will give you a number 69 for that red M" ? 8)

Both. Price agreed and deposit paid sight unseen on both cars. Followed up by visit for me to road test and them to check mine

They checked service history etc from my vin

Just re-read that. I'm too tired *sigh*

Well it makes a change from having to lube up before going to a BMW dealership because you know you're going to be shafted

That's ridiculous. Genuine? Is it on the register?

Easy to tell it is from under the bonnet.

I meant is it a genuine unbent, unmolested, not a scammer type ad rather than a genuine Alpina. We've seen some silly priced Z4 ads that are clearly for non existent cars. Someone on the forum even spotted their own car for sale!

Anyone that had gone to the trouble of sourcing an engine, interior and wheels to make a replica could have bought a real one for less money!

Looks genuine, the owner has just turned up on The Register with some more info

I'd take it off his hands for the original price he placed it at!

If you'd gone for it at the weekend, you probably could have - he who snoozes... loses

Ain't that the truth. I think if I do end up selling the MC then I'd be seriously tempted by an AR as replacement. Maybe in black though. Or that nice blue that Stuart had. Or silver.
Or.....aarrrghhh! STOP!

Thought it was your wife who had the baby, but you seem to be the one having hormone and decision issues

First of all [is she watching?], she's not my wife. Second of all, you're entirely correct pvr. I'm all over the shop and can't decide what the best course of action is. Am hoping it will pass in the Spring...

.....just in time for a roadster then!

YOU SEE?!?! :headbang:

Hi guys,

The Roadster S belongs to myself. As mentioned, looking for a quick sale due to family circumstances. However, after some advice I realised I had listed it at a ridiculously low price and was selling myself short. Also correctly pointed out that there is a can of de-icer in the storage net. I really should have removed that!

The car is completely sound and I have all the history for it. I've owned it since June 2011 and it has spent most of its life on the motorway travelling up and down to work between Glasgow and Aberdeen. The car has been well looked after and the pictures were taken the weekend before last. Bought the Alpina after a short spell with a '92 Porsche 911 of which the targa top didnt really appreciate the Scottish wet weather and prior to that I owned a standard 3.0 Z4.

Apologies for any confusion with its original price and its now realistic price at the low end for a good condition Roadster S priced to sell in the winter.

If anyone would like any more info, feel free to ask away or PM me.

Cheers,

Stewart

Good luck with the sale Stewart. It wont hang around long. Lovely looking example
