Found some pics of my dad's old Alpina. Was a beast back in its day - which probably lead to the after shot :headbang:

Barely got out of that from memory, I was about 4 at the time..

Proper Job!

Genuinely shocked when I scrolled down & saw the 2nd pic, I assume that you were strapped in a car seat safely on the back seat & were unhurt, I'm also assuming that as you put up a smiley ROFL that your dad made it out of that?

Are you in a position to elaborate on the build up to the accident?

Sorry that was my jaw hitting the keyboard. Sometimes amazing things happen, walking away (metaphorically speaking) from that is just one of those things! :happyclap:

amazing isn't it! He was a bit battered about, including slicing his face/chin open from memory which still leaves scars today

Also goes to show how far safety has come, it looks like a crumpled coke can!

 Yep he made it out after a bit of cutting the car! I actually stayed at home by chance that day or it's likely I wouldn't be here, was only a nipper- Too young to remember much, a mis-timed overtake of a truck if I remember rightly followed by some contact, crunching and rolling!
