Hi all,

I’m new to this brilliant community here. I was specifically looking for an Alpine White Z4MC, with CSL Alloys, having been inspired by the minter recently sold by Munich Legends. I understand how rare they are, so I am willing to pay a price to reflect that. Also wouldn’t mind a Roadster in the same shade.

You'll need it as according to a database someone on here compiled only 18 MCs that colour came to the UK. There was only 1 MR so that won't be likely.

Welcome. Realistically you ain't gonna find a decent alpine white 'M' in the near future (in geological timescales).

I would suggest either looking for an E89 (there are millions in alpine white) or consider a different colour. There are loads of black or grey ones.

Thinking about importing a Japanese example... They seem to have quite a few over there

That might be quicker than waiting for a UK one to become available. It must have been a more popular choice in Japan than it was here.

Strange how there are so few white E85/86s in the UK, but there are loads of white E89s.

Quite true, it will be a bit of a struggle to sell on.

I’ve found one for the equivalent of $19,500 so with transport and tax included would be around the £24,000 mark, making it quite a good deal all things considered

Actually I think Japanese imports make a lot of sense if you wish to keep the car for a long time. They are usually high spec and well looked after. Obvs need some mindset adjustment and put in a new radio ….

I think I read somewhere they are abig more to insure than a UK spec car.
