Almost ready to buy a New Z4....

Thank you to all the members of this forum, it has been interesting (and entertaining) to read the threads as I contemplate buying a 2 seater roadster. My heart says Z4 is my next car.....(not listening to my head today!)

Just interested in your thoughts of buying new vs second hand (Z4) at this point in the lifecycle. Lots of deals on new, especially this month, but end of production is expected next year (I have been told).

I would not believe that rumour ... the 35is may be dropped but still a rumour

Some rumours say the exiting Z4 E89 may be in production up to 2020 ... so currently I would not read to much in what you are told or read in the press.

nah not true im afraid. bmw have a strict 8 year cycle, they have 4 years of an initial launch (2009) then 4 year LCI (2013) so the z4 should be ceasing production circa 2017.

Well, just waiting for some final quotes to compare with the possible alternative.....the difficult to get discounted TT Quattro. (nice tech, nice drive, but...)
