Alloy wheel offsets, AHHHHH

Hello everyone!

I am a alloy wheel novice. i know abosoultey bugger all when it comes to offsets, stud diameters.
i have been offered a set of 19" bbs alloys, the details are

225/35/19
stud diameter of 120
5 stud - i know about that!!!!

i have been advised that they had came off a bmw but im not taking that as gospel.

My current alloys on the zed are 225/45/17 -

chrishandscombe, you're going to need to know what the offset is on the 19's and the rim width.

front 8,5j x 19 et 35 /tyres conti sc3 235x 35 x19
rear 9,5j x19 et 40 / tyres conti sc3 265 x 30 x 19

What's mild rubbing - is that where at speed the tread on the tyres rubs with the bodywork of the car.....mmmmm that'll be very safe then :!:

ive emailed the guy asking for the offset details.
i have seen a member on here who has 19" alloys on his and it if i remember rightly its dropped aswell
the bbs ive been offered are almost identical to the ones above in the photo except they have the studs around the outer edge of the rim.

apparently these came off a 3 series.

Soon as i get the details, ill pop them up.
