My Father is picking up is new A3 next week with rather fancy diamond cut alloys.

His ability to avoid curbs is somewhat poor...Audi have obviously offered him a rather overpriced insurance - does anybody know of or have experience of a good insurance that would be cheaper i.e. without the dealer mark up?

Be careful, many alloy insurers exclude diamond cut & chrome finishes (which I have just found out as I had to make a claim)

If the worst happens, may be easier to simply get them done by a reputable Co as most alloy policies have a claim limit.
 
It might be an Idea to contact ALA. They did a good price on my GAP insurance. However like most insurance policies, they're only good if they cough up.

We tend to judge insurance providers on their policy / premium price - maybe not the best logic!
 
So, how much are you being asked to pay & how long does the cover last?

Considering my diamond cut A3 rotor alloy cost £90plus VAT from Lepsons, was thinking better the money stay in the Bank
