Alloy Wheel 'Badge'

So went to check tyre pressures today and noticed one of my alloys has lost the BMW badge from the centre.

What is left appears to be a flat metal disk where I can simply stick back on a new logo badge.
The diameter is 68mm.

However - a quick google has left me confused. I can't seem to find such a thing on a like for like basis. I thought t'interweb would be flooded with real and fake versions of this.
Nearly all the 68mm wheel badges I've found are full on plastic clip in thingies. I'm not sure thats what I need?!?

Could it be that my basic clip is still in place and only the outer badge has dislodged? I need to have a better look tomorrow but wondered if anyone can help or advise where to get a replacement 'stick on' badge at 68mm?
If there is a clip in section still attached to my alloy, how do you pop it out? A screwdriver?

I sounds like the badge has fallen off the centre piece.
They are only held on by bent tabs.
I replaced mine off e-Bay this week - fakes about £8.50.
BMW ones are £40!

Personally I'd take the wheel off and push it out from the back - otherwise you are likely to scratch the paint (he says from bitter knowledge)

Sounds like the logo bit has come unstuck from the main and done a runner. Fake replacement caps are so cheap (and good TBH) that it's not worth faffing about. This was the first ebay advert for instance and you get four!:

To get the old ones off either take the wheels off and push them from the inside, or if that is not practical a small screwdriver just watch you don't damage the wheel. A bit of rag or even tape to protect will help!

These are the ones I bought last week

Much the same as Pondrew's above

They look good quality - one is pictured fitted in the DIY wheel refurb thread I posted earlier
They are also a good tight fit.

If you replacing ...remove old ones by drilling a screw into each one and pull them off...saves removing wheels and also damaging the alloy with a screwdiver trying to prise them out .

I get mine off with the sticky cable-tie holding pads, but doubt most people would have them!

Everybody has a screw in their garage; I do but only when the wife's out! :P

Buddy when you're on your own it doesn't count as a screw anymore :poke: :D

If you get the cheap ones give them a coat of clear lacquer before you put them on, I did and they still look ok 3 years on

They stay still and level as the car wheel rotates. Been on for a while now no problems and people really notice tham, had a few comments from people next to me in slow moving traffic.
