Alloy wheel advice needed

Morning all,
I'm looking for some wheel advice as I'm undecided at the moment.My E89 has 294 wheels which I'm assuming are split rims as I've been quoted £420 to properly refurb in the colour of my choosing but from a brief look on ebay it seems I can buy 4 new alloys for the same outlay......seems a no brainer!!
Does anybody have feedback regarding alloys purchased from 1 of these ebay dealers,quality of paintwork and wheel quality for example.Not desperately taken with the 294's so quite happy to change and swap the tyres over....maybe use them over the winter with suitable tyres.
If I go down the ebay route what wheel widths and offsets would I look for to fit correctly......18" and staggered set at present.
Also open to suggestions regarding style and if anyone has rims they want to sell then get in touch.........I've gone nearly a year with these rims and the marks around the edges bug me every time it gets washed( came like this BTW....internet dealer purchase and wheels described as good)

I got a set of CSL reps for £500 and the paint quality was pathetic. I'd be very wary of buying any no-name alloys, in fact I wouldn't buy another set without seeing them in real life first.
