Alloy refurb, to go silver or not?

hi all

Happy recent owner of an 03 3.0 in Maldive Blue

The 107 Epsilloids are in dire need of love - kerbed and rust bubbling through the laquer
Booked in for a total redo this week, acid dip/sandblast and refinish.

Question is - do I refinish them in the standard silver, or take the opportunity to do something different and have them painted in anthracite grey, type of colour

planning to keep the car for another 11 months and sell on, so I'm thinking stay sensible and keep it silver.... Thoughts? Or anyone got pictures?

If you quite like the idea of anthracite then Shadow Chrome might look good!

There's a photo of some 107s in Shadow Grey on this thread:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27575&start=180

I love  the 107s and personally have never seen a better colour than their native silver.

Agreed.

Especially on Maldives, it's a classic combo and I just don't think you can beat it

Thanks all - After playing around with Photoshop, I think the anthracite colours on wheels work well with darker paints, just not the maldive blue. Looks like it'll be going the native silver!
