does any one know roughly what i should be paying per wheel for refurbisment ?, does it depend on how damaged they are ?
thanks in anticipation .

Depends on the type of alloy. (split or 1 piece), any excessive kerbing that requires welding or bends that need straightening and on top of that the type and quality of finish.

It can be anything from £50 to £100 depending on the above. I suggest phone a few or if you post where you are based thee may be some suggestions

ballington31,
Not an answer to your question I know, But you have me a bit confused, I noticed you had showed a bit of interest in the Hard top that is for sale, and now talking about having your wheels refurbed :? :? Are you now considering keeping Your current piece of superb Deutsh Engineering :poke:

edit. http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/ I think these guys are offering a 25% off deal at the moment but you have to ask for it.

i have bought it from bmw finance today am going to have bumps and scapes sorted (est £500 including wheels ) then that now gives me till oct 11 to move it on gives me a little more breathing space :D

cos they are split rims and only light parking damage to the out side rims (girl friend insists on being as close to the curbside as is possible :x ) only £20 a wheel which seems good to say the least :D

That I assume will be some sort of smart refurb involving just polishing and lacquering in the visible bits of the outer rim

probably as it was only light tarnish and scuffs it didnt need to be shot so they are going to do it when they spray the front bumper ! i will let you know how it goes hopefully with some picies, hope to have a camera sorted soon (i managed to leave ours in a taxi in wales some where ! its still a touchy subject :( )
