Alloy damaged at tyre shop..

Picked up a set of 224’s (thanks Ed) and did some research on tyres here (special thanks to Andy). Armed with that, went to the tyre shop and they accidentally clipped the alloy :headbang:

They asked for a quote for repair so just wanted to ask is it a case of full refurb or can this be matched in?
The alloys have never been refurbed.

Thanks in advance
Zahid

If the tyre shop have agreed to pay, I would just do a full refurb. That way you know the job will done properly and last a long time.

The disadvantage with that is it might not match the other wheels very well

Definitely get a full refurb and you could argue the fact that the wheel on the same side be refurbed as well just in case of slight colour difference.

Thanks for the comments.
Good idea re asking for one side to be refurbed. Might be a stretch too far but will ask.
Thanks again

I would think a good shop should be able to get a very good match. The shop should be able to tell you if this is the case or if both wheels on one side will need to be done.
