Hi Guys,

Im looking at getting new tyres soon and have been thinking maybe of changing the alloys at the same time but I have a few questions:

My standard Alloys are Elipsoids (i think) and are staggered so front tyres are 225/40/18 and rears are 255/35/18 and I am wondering if my car is set up for this so having 225 all round would look odd and not work with my car?

Also what is the stud diameter as I have been looking at maybe the M6 style or CSL style as they both look nice options.

Also my car seems to have the M sport suspension fitted so will this make any difference?

you could technically fit narrower tyres but it would look silly . the wheel rim width tells what tyre width should be within 10mm or so ?
standard factory alloys should stay with the standard rubber for obvious reasons
the other dimensions / wheelnuts / offset etc can be viewed here http://www.carlsalter.com/BMW-wheel-fitments.html
hope this helps
