Allow myself to introduce myself...

Feel a little underpowered in that crowd???? 8)

But i bring class to the group! 8)

I already had a LS2 GTO myself last year, my buddy with the Viper had a Viper picked out for me to buy, but i passed. Also was looking at Z06's for a while, but missed out on buying 1 by a couple of hours. But glad i looked into the Z4's

It is funny, cause they do rib me about my lack of power, and the only time i wish the car was faster is when i hang out with them. Any other time, i'm more then happy with the car.

The funnier part is that we all at one point had SRT4's that were highly modified. The owner of the Mustang had a Stage 3 SRT4 that went 11.78 @ 118 mph on a extremely hot track when we went to the SRT Nationals.

Sweeeeeetttttttt. The Z06 is nice but it's the Viper for me :sweetheart:

Hmmm, looking at Autotrader, I could easily be tempted by a Corvette next, although a C6 rather than a Z06.

I was absolutely floored at the pricing for insurance compared to the Z4.

I am with All-State insurance, which for the over the ponders, is a nationally known provider. I pay $2,000 a year for the Z4, I was paying $2,500 for the SRT6 a year, $1,250 for the GTO and $1,200 for the G35.

Quotes for a 2002-2004 Z06 would of been $1,200 a year
Quotes for a 2005-2007 C6 Vet Coupe would of been $1,250 a year

27... I also have 2 other cars and a home on the policy

I've thought about pulling the Z4 off the policy and going somewhere else with it, but i know All-State, and i know the kind of service they provided is first class, at least from my personal dealings with them in concerns of my family when they got in to a accident once.

Hmmm, seems kind of backwards to me that the 'Vette is cheaper. Mine changed very little per year going from a MINI to the Z4M, but I am with USAA. YMMV! :)

I even posed that very question to my agent... "So u'r telling me that a true sports car with 400+hp is half the price of a BMW?" He said "Appearently so"
